Dunes, tracks and a KTM under you
Riding a motorbike in the dunes is a different sport: the sand moves, the slopes change every day and the right line makes all the difference. That is why our moto tours are always led by a riding guide who knows Erg Chebbi by heart and chooses the route for your level.
We ride KTM enduro bikes, light and powerful, prepared for sand. Short rides stay in the dunes; longer ones add the stony tracks of the black desert, old caravan routes and nomad camps. You need to be comfortable on a manual off-road bike.
Before you ride
What level do I need for the KTM tours?
You should be comfortable on a manual off-road motorbike. Sand is new for most riders, so the guide adapts the route and gives tips from the first minute.
Is riding gear included?
Yes: helmet, goggles, gloves and body protection. You can also bring your own boots and gear if you prefer.

Do I need a motorbike licence?
We ride off-road, but we recommend a motorbike licence or solid off-road experience. Tell us your level when you book.
