The light of the late afternoon turns Erg Chebbi into a painting, and a buggy is the most comfortable way to enjoy it with someone special. We leave about two hours before sunset and drive through the valleys at an easy pace.
Before the sun touches the horizon we park on a panoramic dune, switch off the engine and enjoy the silence. Your guide prepares a glass of mint tea and takes your photos. We drive back in the blue light of dusk.

Good to know
The driver needs a car driving licence. Wear closed shoes and sunglasses; the buggy can carry one passenger.
No payment is needed to book: you pay on the day in cash (dirhams or euros). Free changes if the weather is not good.
Before you ride
Do I need a driving licence for the buggy?
We ask the driver to have a car driving licence. The passenger does not need anything, just a sense of adventure.
Is the buggy good for families?
Yes. With seat belts and a roll cage it is the safest way to share the dunes with older children sitting next to a parent.
Is it difficult to drive on the dunes?
Not with a guide. He chooses the lines and shows you how to climb and descend. You simply follow his tracks at your own pace.
What is the best time of day?
Morning and late afternoon, when the sand is cooler and the light is beautiful. In summer we ride only at sunrise and sunset.
