Short on time but dreaming of the dunes? This two-day trip from Fes is made for you. You leave early through the Middle Atlas, stop in Ifrane and the cedar forest to see the macaques, and follow the spectacular Ziz valley down to Merzouga.
In the late afternoon a camel caravan takes you into Erg Chebbi for the sunset and a night in our luxury camp, with dinner and music under the stars. After the sunrise you visit Rissani and drive back to Fes, arriving in the evening. It is a long drive, but the desert is worth every kilometre.

Day 2
Sunrise – Rissani – back to Fes
Sunrise over the dunes, breakfast and camel ride back. Short visit of Rissani and drive back north to Fes, arriving in the evening.

Good to know
Pick-up around 7:30 am. Bring a small bag for the desert night; big luggage stays in the vehicle.
No payment is needed to book: you pay on the day in cash (dirhams or euros). Free changes if the weather is not good.
Before you ride
Are the tours private?
Yes. Only your group travels in the vehicle, with your own driver, and the program can be adapted.
Where do the tours start?
We pick you up at your riad or hotel in Marrakech or Fes, or at the airport or hotel in Errachidia, usually around 7:30 am.
Which camp do we sleep in?
In our own luxury camp in Erg Chebbi, with private tents, bathrooms and hot showers.
Can I add a quad or buggy ride?
Yes, on the afternoon you arrive in Merzouga, before the camel trek. Just tell us when you book.
