4 Hours Quad Bike Adventure in Merzouga
Half a day on a quad: the full tour of Erg Chebbi, nomad camps, fossil sites and the open plains where you can really open the throttle.
Four hours is for riders who want the complete picture. We circle Erg Chebbi, mixing sections in the dunes with fast tracks on the flat hamada, where you can gain speed safely behind your guide.
Along the way we stop at a nomad camp, look for trilobite and ammonite fossils in the black rocks and visit Khamlia for Gnawa music. The last part climbs back into the dunes for a final crest with views over the whole sea of sand. Bring a scarf: you will come back dusty and happy.

Good to know
Wear closed shoes and long trousers. Rides leave at the time you choose; in summer we recommend sunrise or sunset.
No payment is needed to book: you pay on the day in cash (dirhams or euros). Free changes if the weather is not good.
Before you ride
Do I need experience to ride a quad?
No. The quads are automatic and you get a briefing and a short practice on flat sand before entering the dunes.
Can children ride?
Drivers are usually 16 or older. Younger children can ride as passengers with an adult on a duo quad or in a buggy. We confirm the details when you book.
What should I wear?
Closed shoes, long trousers and sunglasses. We give you a helmet, goggles and a Berber scarf against the sand. In winter bring a warm layer for sunset.
What is the best time of day?
Morning and late afternoon, when the sand is cooler and the light is beautiful. In summer we ride only at sunrise and sunset.
