1 Hour Merzouga Quad Bike Tour
Your first taste of Erg Chebbi on four wheels: a short briefing, then one hour of soft dunes, wide valleys and big smiles with your guide.
This is the ride we recommend to everyone who has never driven a quad. We meet at our base at the foot of the dunes, fit your helmet and goggles and explain the controls in five minutes. The quads are automatic: one thumb to accelerate, two brakes, and you are ready.
Then your guide leads you into Erg Chebbi. The first minutes are on flat sand to find your confidence, then the route climbs gently between the dunes to a viewpoint over the sea of sand. There is time for photos before riding back by a different valley.

Good to know
Wear closed shoes and long trousers. Rides leave at the time you choose; in summer we recommend sunrise or sunset.
No payment is needed to book: you pay on the day in cash (dirhams or euros). Free changes if the weather is not good.
Before you ride
Do I need experience to ride a quad?
No. The quads are automatic and you get a briefing and a short practice on flat sand before entering the dunes.
Can children ride?
Drivers are usually 16 or older. Younger children can ride as passengers with an adult on a duo quad or in a buggy. We confirm the details when you book.
What should I wear?
Closed shoes, long trousers and sunglasses. We give you a helmet, goggles and a Berber scarf against the sand. In winter bring a warm layer for sunset.
What is the best time of day?
Morning and late afternoon, when the sand is cooler and the light is beautiful. In summer we ride only at sunrise and sunset.
